Boat #6 – Miss Joan

Acquired for the summer of 2014, thanks to a generous donation from the Wegner Family, the Belzona 325 is a unique boat that lends itself to Patrol work in amazing fashion.  The most notable feature on the hull is a sliding door on the side that opens up allowing crew members to easily pull injured patients onboard.  The twin outboards are a departure from the inboards that power the rest of the fleet, but they are state-of-the art fuel efficient engines that provide optimum power and quiet operation.  For added maneuverability, the boat is equipped with a bow thruster.  A one-piece integrated console top features a forward-leaning windshield which sheds water more easily and provides better visibility.  Inside, the boat has plenty of storage space and room to work.  Modern electronics with sonar and GPS help to round out this boat’s versatility.  Belzona is a relatively new boat company based near Miami, FL, and they pride themselves on quality, durability and.attention to detail.  Made in the U.S.A., these boats are top quality throughout.
