Boat #7 – Miss Julia

“Miss Julia” arrived in August of 2022 to join the already-impressive fleet of the Water Safety Patrol. This sleek, 32′ Yellowfin Center Console was built in Sarasota, FL and has a reputation in the boating industry as being a “Thoroughbred On Water.” It’s unique profile stands out among other boat models in its class, and the Yellowfin brand is highly respected in commercial boat circles. A stepped hull leads to almost instant planing, and the boat gobbles up large waves as if they were tiny ripples. Twin 400 hp Mercury Verado engines (made in Wisconsin) make this boat the fastest in the Patrol’s fleet…a title that had been held by Boat #1 for almost 56 years.

The acquisition of this boat was made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Ken Wegner family. Ken and Julia Wegner are long time supporters of the Water Safety Patrol, and they have a keen interest in helping to keep Geneva Lake safe for all to enjoy.
